Curriculum design (in 40 min.)

An careful observer will successfully identify the four distinct aspects of Communication & Empathy. Content: Rod and Matus.

Today at the Mastery Transcript Consortium workshop, we were asked to create a rubric for Communication and Empathy with someone with perspectives different from our own.

Time given: insufficient.
Complexity: slightly better than Global Warming
Output: poster
Group size: 2-3

I drew a line over writing the entire rubric on a poster – people never read poster text. A natural alternative was to capture the seminal points in a picture. While the result resembles kindergarten drawings, it fulfills the purpose. While I was creating it, I realised how I was inspired by my (former and current) colleagues Lisa and Ľubka.

The Universe sometimes wants to prove a point. Today, we were given the time to look at our posters at the end of the session, and people actually read them:)
