Day 1
I love my new build: I parse 130k on a training dummy.

Day 2
Maybe there is a bug in the game. My beam does awesome damage to a boss but much less to inferior targets.

Day 4

I am on to something. The bug applies to dragonfire as well. Strange that no one has reported this before.

Day 6

I posted my findings. Many share my frustration. Somebody pointed out that this is a result of the monetisation of the game: when people get paid for their work, their work becomes crap. Obviously.

Day 7

After suffering for many sleepless nights, I confronted the corporate behemoth! I used the message that an LLM wrote for me to convey my experience.

Day 8

No reply yet. 

Day 9

My average DPS still suffers. Worse, raid leads are misinformed – not knowing about the bug, they keep telling me to attack adds. Like those useless Atronachs in vDSR. If only they knew how much more damage I would deal to the twins instead!

Day 10

I am furious. Still no reply. Also, I got kicked from vSE on Yaseyla. They said I continued to beam the boss with archers present. Of course I did! How can people not understand that in order to kill a boss, you have to damage the boss?!

Day 12
An independent mind from a forum has put their finger on the root cause. Raid leaders are part of the game establishment and suffer from groupthink. So no amount of evidence will make them see how wrong they are.

Day 14

I saw that the bug applies to the Flesh Abomination in vRG. So I turned to parse Bahsei. If the rest had not got killed by four Abominations like morons that they are, we would have finished it in five minutes. The raid lead blamed ME for the wipe. Pure online toxicity.

 

Day 15

I feel extreme anger. The corrupt corporation replied that they could not confirm the bug. USELESS IDIOTS.

Day 16

I see it now – the bug will stay forever. Breathtakingly wrong.

Day 17
Darwin said that one has to adapt to survive. Since I cannot deal decent damage to adds, I will always parse on the bosses from now on.
